A door.

In life, moments of closure are often followed by the unveiling of new paths. A quote I found moving captures this feeling beautifully: "When one door closes, another opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one that has opened for us." This holds a powerful truth reminding us the natural transisitions that we so often go through. At times theres immense potential and discovery in the midst of change.

For many of us, focusing on what we've lost or what didn't materialize can be a natural reaction. It's part of the human condition to mourn the absence of the familiar, to grieve for plans that went sideways, or to dwell on opportunities that slipped through our fingers.

What a beautiful aspect of life it is to have moments we can bid farewell to. If we never had to part ways with people or the profound experiences that shape us, we would never have had been so lucky to say hello in the first place.
