Transparency

When I started this blog, I figured I’d write about all the great things that happen to me in the course of my life, even the terrible ones. I simply wanted a way to be transparent in my own way. It’s been harder than I thought, not so much to write these things down but to share them here. I figured, why not make a place where I can write whatever I want and share it, but only with certain people—those I come across in my travels and adventures. I hardly ever give the website to friends or family because, the way I see it, that would ruin the whole thing. It’s like my little secret without it really being one. I feel many people can relate to the feeling that telling secrets or writing about hard days and sharing it with strangers is easier than sharing it with family and close friends. At least, that’s how it is for me.
