Woke up in Moab and falling asleep in Salt lake city got to love it. I'm going to miss outdoor climbing I'm sure eventually I will find a climbing partner here but in the meantime, the indoor gym is a great way to train and get stronger. Climbing out in Moab and struggling on certain easy routes made me realize how fucking weak I am. So my goal as of right now is to get back in shape and regain the strength I had before but translate into a form of strength beneficial to climbing. Being on the shorter side if I don't get stronger I will blow chunks at climbing higher more difficulty-rated routes.
I always told myself to never take this life so seriously don't settle so quick and don't get attached to the wrong things. If you know me you know my sense of humor is pretty wide but when the time comes I get serious. Life is more enjoyable when you're able to find the silly shit in things you think are gravely serious. Most of the time the shit we think is important or tend to dramatize over is temporary and just flat out a waste of energy to be contemplating about.
I officially start this new part-time job tomorrow it's been a while since I've had a real job with real regulations and a set schedule to clock in and clock out. I'm excited though the schedule they gave me sounds ideal and ill be able to learn to ski and hopefully meet some rad people.
The plan for the night seems chill, dinner and hangout with a friend so thats all for the night.
Goodnight!
