So yesterday the day of Christmas Eve I had a skiing accident and I now have an either potentially torn ACL or Meniscus. I cannot walk properly or even do simple movements this by far has to be the worst pain i have felt in my life. Its depressing to know that my season is over and that I might be spending the next year recovering from this injury. I am currently laying in bed alone leg up on a pillow with frozen broccoli on it. A huge part of my life is physical and revolves around an active lifestyle, I have never had an injury like this so I am scared and concerned. My life for awhile might be on pause. I have weighed out my options from best case to worse case scenario and if my knee doesnt require surgery then I will rehab it and do what is needed to heal here in Jackson. If my knee does require surgery then my only option is to cut my time here short and head back to California where I can get proper treatment and care. Im hoping for the first.
