GUNA

Three weeks ago, my life changed for the better. I can't see it any other way. I've added a bit of stress, but it's the good kind, the kind you don't even question whether it's worth it.

A girl came into my life. She follows me everywhere I go, and I've never seen anything get so excited when I'm around. To make it even better, she has four legs and fur. Her name is Guna. She responds to Guna but also turns her head to Goon, Gunna, Goondog, and even mistakenly Luna (a cliché name). I wasn't expecting or looking for this type of responsibility because, let's be fair, it's a responsibility that can end up fatal if not managed properly. She came to me, and I answered. I questioned it for hours and I'll be honest with you I looked at shelters and humane societies. I called a few people that I can depend on to give me fair and honest advice and fair honest advice is what they gave me. The result was me keeping her regardless of how difficult it might be. She is my mini partner in crime, sitting in the passenger seat of this Ford Club Wagon and hanging in there with me. She's been great, and I can see that future blogs will be somewhat Guna-related.
