Flagstaff

I never wrote a proper farewell for Flagstaff, and it feels wrong. The little time I spent there resulted in amazing and beautiful changes in my life that I couldn’t be more grateful for. I had the pleasure of meeting some amazing people from locals that are part of the active and trendy culture but also the dirtbags that are camping right outside of town. I came to flagstaff with no serious expectations and left with a typewriter, a puppy, and the appreciation for a new place that I hope I’ll find myself in once more. There were a few moments I had convinced myself I was staying in Flagstaff and even went as far as thinking it was the place id be planting some roots in. Maybe I got ahead of myself don’t blame me for some optimistic belief in my future. I’m almost certain this will be my last real summer of full-time dirtbag and roaming nomadically for a few reasons. The biggest was having a dog in my care and once she gets out of her puppy size, a van is no place for a dog. Id love to make my way back to the coast with her. It would be a beautiful place to raise a puppy and, even better, being an excuse to go back home to the west coast.
