Yoga by the beach

Lately, I’ve been really getting into the hot yoga scene, attending sessions twice a week. The studio, styled like a Buddhist room and heated to a whopping 120°F, has quickly become the highlight of my day. Imagine this: I’m there, immersed in my stretches and poses, feeling the sweat roll off my nose – it’s incredibly intense. I’m not exaggerating when I say that I am probably the sweatiest guy in that room. There’s something genuinely liberating about being drenched in sweat. My heart beats steadily at about 90-100 bpm, syncing perfectly with the session’s flow. But all the meanwhile , I’m focused on breathing in and out through my nose, maintaining composure. Whether I’m holding a tree pose with my foot flexed and back straight or just flowing through the movements, it’s all about breathing to maintain stillness and the smoothness of the flow. It’s about pushing MY limits, getting sweaty, getting bendy, and finding that perfect balance of challenge and comfort.

Oh, and it’s just a short walk from some of the best coastlines in the United States.
