So, yesterday was a bit of a game-changer for me. Decided to dust off the old strength training routine for the first time in ages –, maybe a whole year. Starting, I was like, "Okay, this is good. I'm feeling the burn. I must be super weak right now." But as the sets rolled on, I caught myself flexing in the mirror, thinking, "Hey, I've still got it."

Towards the end, though, reality hit. I'm questioning my life choices, wondering why I thought adding more weight was a good idea. Finished the workout, got hit with that sweet dopamine rush, muscles all pumped up. I was in the zone, remembering why I started this workout train 11 years ago.

Fast forward to the rest of the day – did my usual sauna for 15-20 minutes, and work at a job I don’t mind but am not necessarily stoked to be at. It was like I was on autopilot, barely present for the whole 8 hours. Post-work, though, that's when the fun began—crawled into bed feeling like I got hit by a truck. My body's not used to this whole strength training gig anymore. It's like trying to speak Chinese after forgetting it for years.

Now, I'm posted in Panera Bread, scoring some free coffee and nursing my sore self. Sorry for the short blog, I’m writing some other shit most likely, no one will ever see.
