I’ve met some wonderful people on my travels and living in other cities. My time when I lived in Spokane, Washington is a place and a period that sticks out to me. I was leaving Salt Lake City and headed to eastern Washington and to be honest I had no at the time what Spokane was or where it was. Little did I know the next 7 months would be some of my favorite memories of camping and having a genuine friendship/relationship with someone. I was allowed to go camping and explore Idaho, Washington, Montana, and Wyoming. To be honest I have to give credit to my friend Adrianna if it wasn’t for her I don’t think I would been that proactive about exploring these places and getting after it. Those 7 months 3 years ago are precious memories to me. I met a possible lifelong friend and it put me out there. To be truthful, Adrianna was the real explorer she moved from the East Coast to Spokane and was always eager to go to new places and be outside. I never told her but it was very inspiring to me. She was a real go-getter. I always have an immense amount of respect for people who uproot their lives, especially across the country to move to a random city when you don’t know anyone or anything. It takes some real courage and commitment to the unknown and to keep it going the way she has.

She has never stopped covering ground and I hope she never does.

I’m using a photo for this blog of my time in Washington.

We took her 2008 Subaru into the boonies of Idaho and camped on this cliffside. I still remember that day.

Almost 4 years old.
