Occasionally we have those weekends where they just fly by and time doesn’t feel existent and you become fluid through the day. This weekend was one of those for me. The biggest highlight was camping and pigging out on food Saturday I loaded my things into my friend’s car and headed into the Coeur D’Alene National Forest. We started out the day bouldering at Q emlin park I’m not so familiar with northern Idaho or any of Idaho as far as I’m concerned. I felt strong and fit climbing. My climbing strength is still on a disappointing plateau gaining small strives in improvement at such a slow rate none the less I have gotten stronger in my fingers. After about 2 hours of climbing, we had some lunch at a local diner and took off to find a campsite for ourselves. We drove 45 minutes into the Coeur d'Alene national forest eventually find a nice place to lay some tents and start a fire it was raining for a solid hour but nothing to interfere with current plans. We drank cider and started cooking cheeseburgers they would come out OK I give them a 5/10 for camp burgers. They were covered in dirt and they were messy. Those are the meals that are hard to forget eating whatever you put together with no fucks to give with good company, clean air, and awesome scenery.

The next day as tradition has been we go eat breakfast usually try and pick somewhere I haven’t been before. We ended with taking our tastes bud to the cracker barrel supposedly they are known for being “racist” but then again that word is thrown so loosely you don’t know what to take seriously. I had some french toast and eggs for a good price I’m planning on using this food as fuel later for some climbing and a slight workout. My week starts tomorrow the good old hated Mondays Ill be working somewhere northeast of Washington I assume near Mount Spokane. I’m not sure what this week’s work projects will look like so I just have to be ready physically and mentally for the week ahead.
