Coming into view.

Amid conversation or interaction with strangers, you’d hope they would be present. You look into the eyes of the individual and see vacancy, a blank stare that deems it impossible to read. What are you thinking? Where is your mind? Under the guise of human flesh is a hollow vessel constantly being tormented by what others think, money, sex, and hierarchy. Too busy with their self-loathing thoughts they cannot bring themselves to be present in the presence of a stranger especially one classified as the working individual.

I struggle with living in the worlds offered to me… the world of my parents, the world of bureaucracy, the world of politics. I felt I had to create my own world, climate, country, and air I could breathe, govern, and keep recreating myself. Only those who choose to express themselves with some art know that the world is a subjective creation, that there is a choice to be made of everything, options of elements. It’s the creation and development of the inner world we all choose to be a part of.
