I’m not a huge fan of plans being changed last minute I should be climbing in the next two hours or less. The plan was originally going to Leavenworth a small German style town in Central Washington with some of the best climbing in the state. I’ve had an itch climb outside but it hasn’t happened for a while there’s a lot that goes into actually climbing outside you factor in gear which will almost run you about $400 give or take Then on top of that you and your partner need to be knowledgeable of certain techniques, logistics and technicalities of climbing. End of the day climbing is inherently dangerous it can be Met with fatal injuries or death itself Which is why it’s so important to know as much as you can and be sure of all the small details when climbing. Especially when you get to the more complicated techniques and climbing styles it’s vital your life literally depends on every single thing. The way I see it though  climbing is a safe as you want it to be You can either have a lot of protection or in some peoples case like Alex Honnold no protection (he’s theguy from the movie Free Solo). if you’ve never climbed before or maybe you have climbing is never about the adrenaline your BPM doesn’t go haywire, unless you fall. Well in that case if your heart rate doesn’t spike you’re a crazy person.  It’s a sport and requires concentration minimal distractions and sometimes freakishly crazy strength. I say concentration and no distractions because you want to make sure everything‘s right all the gear in your rack is there,  all knots are tied perfectly, and none of it is damaged. every single move you are doing it’s going to prevent you from falling.  I’m actually riding as well driving no I’m not typing this I’m using speech to text just for everyone out there since baby concern for my well-being behind the wheel. Anyone wants to donate stickers to me I very much appreciate that.
