Coffee thoughts.

For as long as I can remember, I've always placed a significant amount of pressure on myself to achieve various goals. Whether they were accolades, financial milestones, fitness objectives, or just anything I set my mind to, I became disturbingly fixated and relentless. Of course, there have been times when I've learned valuable lessons and decided to step back, not because I couldn't accomplish those goals, but because it wasn't the right time. Not everything is meant to happen exactly when we want it to. I've noticed that many events and changes tend to be slow burns that suddenly explode.

I've embarked on numerous endeavors, projects, and ideas, many of which have completely failed. Since I was 18, I've invested money in various ventures, hoping to create something larger than myself, something not solely focused on making money. However, at the end of the day, there was always an underlying motive for notoriety or financial gain. That's how I knew those weren't my passions; they didn't resonate with my heart and soul.

When I started Covergroundusa.com and continued to work on it, my motivations were entirely different. It was never about money, fame, or the possibility of achieving those things. It was always about having a personal space to remember what I'm doing, where I am, and who I'm with—a space that isn't owned by Instagram or mainstream social media. It was a place where I could express myself in any way I wanted. And to this day, it remains that way. The only difference is that through maintaining a blog for this long, I've learned not only about who I can reach and help but also about its significance to my own mental health. It has become the most crucial element for my well-being, providing me with a drive and a purpose that extends beyond the mundane day-to-day existence. It's something I look at as a reminder to keep going, keep writing, and keep pushing forward with this endeavor.
