Okay so imagine this… I buy a 800 dollar plane ticket to Noi bai, Vietnam. The weekend was nice I ate a lot which is good and bad I have absolutely no self-control from the moment I begin digesting to the moment I’m lying in bed with a heavy food coma and feeling 15 pounds heavier. Friday I spent it laying around letting the body recuperate before climbing at night I felt strong and can see small strides of improvement which is huge at the level i’m at in climbing considering i’ve been at a sad plateau for some time. Saturday was great I spent the majority of the day eating and doing some form of exercise I had a slow indoor climbing session and spent an hour or more working out doing basic shoulder and pull-up routines that complement climbing well. Today aka Sunday was cool, Adrianna and I went to Long Lake and an area called “The Cove” in Fisk State park. Is it me or do people just looking a lot younger as time moves forward, I couldn’t tell whether the people there were 16 or 22? Rope swings and cliff jumps it was a pretty good spot, Adrianna was scared to jump it was kinda funny but see it through and know your limits. I also created a bouldering line over the water on a cool slab. So if you’re unfamiliar what that means is I was free climbing with climbing shoes on and if I fall I land in water it was not the highest bouldering route but something cool to experiment with at 20 feet it was a good fall if I took it especially since on a portion of the route is over these huge rock formations right below and if you don’t kick far enough out falling you’re sure to hit those rocks and break a nice bone. The work week starts tomorrow same location same campground. I feel like I go crazy in the forest everything looks the same we chainsaw over 500 trees a day probably and no matter what we clear it never changes in every direction just layers and fractals of plants, leaves, trees, and dead logs go to the gallery plenty of photos get a good reference of what I’m saying.

Dinner: Vegan protein pattie with some asparagus and mushroom ravioli 10/10.
